I don’t know about you but I’m ready for spring. We had beautiful weather this last week and it allowed us to be outside without freezing our behinds off. Sunday morning we decided to go on a 3-mile hike on the MCC Nature Trails; it was a beautiful morning for a walk. On this little adventure we spotted quite a few deer and I believe I may have found some owl pellets. I think they were from a Great Horned Owl by the size of them but I’m not 100% certain, obviously it’s been there for a little while. Who would have ever thought I’d get so excited about owl vomit!?
The deer are happy that the snow temporarily melted and that the grass is once again exposed. My “kids” were grazing Wednesday evening. These are the four that have been cleaning out my birdfeeders; I’m glad I am getting a little reprieve.
I wasn’t able to get pictures of the Blue Blood Moon yesterday due to the clouds but tonight’s moon was pretty impressive as it was rising.
