Hello…

Thanks for stopping by and reading my first blog post!  I’m new to blogging and have a lot to learn.  My intention of this blog is to share my love of nature with all of you.  I hope to provide information on useful products, share recipes and photos, give tips and provide general information about events in our area.  My goal is to publish a post every couple of days.

Winter has returned to Michigan, I guess it is only March 11th but after a couple of days of above average temperatures and lots of sun, it’s absolutely heartbreaking!  I’m counting down the days until I can hang my hummingbird feeders in anticipation of my littlest feathered friends arrival, it’s usually the first couple of weeks in April.

My feeders have been quite active the last few days.  I’ve recently purchased the Bird Photo Booth and am getting the birds acclimated to a new feeder.  We installed it yesterday evening and I noticed a few birds on the dish today.  I went out to get the SD card to check my pictures and was sad to see that the battery died and I didn’t get any pictures of the birds.  I fully suspect this was operator error and will try again tomorrow with hopefully, better results.
